Congrats to the 2005 US Open Champions!
Congratulations to the US Open Winners, one and all. We wish we could highlight all of them, but we're just going to mention the singles today. Of course, congrats to Federer and Clijsters, who are gracious champions who deserve the win. And of course to the runners-up, Agassi and Pierce, for showing us geezers that there is life after 30!
As a side note, although the WTA lists Pierce's sponsors (below), apparently she is playing without a clothing or shoe sponsor. I also heard James Blake did not have a racquet contract. C'mon guys, these are high-profile pros who are great for the game, let's get on the phone to them with an offer!
