Martina Hingis, the scrappy, former #1 has been seen using a blacked out racket at the US Open, which likely means she's switch-hitting these days and trying out another brand. I bet Yonex is none too happy about this, but that's the way it goes. Hingis needs more power to compete with the other top women in the game. Yonex, maybe you should focus there, and fast.

Bethanie Mattek wore a metalic gold outfit in her first round match. Uh, yeah, Bethanie...Erin Grey called and wants her costume from the the 1980's hit, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century back.
