Federer's US Open Night Match Outfit

In the city that never sleeps, one needs some appropriate formal wear, even if you're playing tennis. Which is why, I suppose, Nike debuted its men's Black Collection last night at the US Open on Roger Federer.

It was all black, satin and patent leather for the world's #1. He sported shorts that looked like tuxedo shorts, which looked normal from afar, but a little odd up close, if you ask me.


The Dri-FIT Polo has a satin-backed placket from which Roger's initials "RF" are laser etched. The laser cut graphic exposes the satin facing behind. Rear of polo has "RF" logo at collar that fades into a sublimated pattern down the back.


Roger's all-black Nike Vapor IV are a limited series, Nike's only offering 50 pairs on-site in NYC only. His, of course, tout the 3 red and white Swiss flag logos, each one representing a US Open win.

Lastly, the bag...well, we'll let the bag speak for itself. Its shiny, that's all I can say.
