Alabama Girl Hats...Huh?

Yesterday we talked about smaller, non-mainstream brands of apparel with Lily's of Beverly Hills. I guess for every great product line there's an awful product line. In this case, it is Alabama Girl Hats. I first came across them at Tennis Warehouse, so I Googled them and you can guess what comes up when you put in "Alabama Girl." I'd tell you but this is a family blog.

So...with no other real information, I'm left solely to my own assessment of these hats and visors. And that assessment is the following.
Ick.

These are gawdy, glittery hats in white, pink, red, black and purple. I'll let the pics speak for themselves. Someone needs to tell these folks that the old lady tourists at the Atlantic City boardwalk want their hats back.

I saw these hats at a very exclusive country club in the pro shop.
My wife loved them, everyone who see's them on her ask where she got them.
Maybe your taste are more lily's of bev. hills and not much in there would I buy for my wife unless thev've changed a lot recently.
These are well made dressy looking upscale hats at a great retail price.
The pro shop has trouble keeping them in stock in Atlanta area.
So don't trash stuff just because you might be way to old to look good in it.
lily's is an older matronly place to shop and pay a stack FOR THEIR NAME, and there stuff is good quality but not very stylish in most areas of the country.
