Lacoste Celebrates 75 Years with Spring/Summer 2008 Collection

Lacoste's Spring/Summer collection was announced this week. It is designed by Christophe Lemaire, and pays tribute to the brands 75th anniversary. The themes of the collection are many and varied, to say the least. But we're sure they will stay true to the Lacoste brand of classic style and quality.
Collections include:
- Tonic - a theme full of "refreshing" colors
- Newport - the timeless elegance of a nautical theme, with black, white and the American flag colors.
- Club - a subtle colorful theme based on ageless patterns, noble materials and the golf wear spirit
- Memphis - washed monochrome colors inspired by romanticism of Memphis deserts (whatever that is...)
- Club 75th - refined patterns and the elegance of the 30's
- Active - symbolic Lacoste models with large crocodile embroidery, classic stripes and vintage spirit for clothes in the sports styles.
- Tanger - a sunny theme of warm spicy colours with subtle shaded colours reminiscent of Moroccan deserts and handcrafted pottery
- Tennis, Golf & Rolland Garros - themes for Lacoste champions in tennis courts and golf courses (does that mean I have to be Andy Roddick to wear them?)
- Club 1 - for women, this theme takes cricket style elegance and graphic patterns to renew the "Sport Chic" look
- Bermudes - for women, this line has delicate patterns, light materials and especially the soft monochromatic colors.
