TennisPoint.com lets you "Power Search" for courts & clubs
TennisPoint.com (which WhatsAllTheRacquet covered recently) today announced the launch of a comprehensive search tool designed to give players seeking tennis courts or tennis clubs a complete profile of facilities' quality, offered programs, size, court surfaces, player reviews, photographs, maps, and even aerial views.
Players can search for courts based on large number of criteria including lighting, whether or not a facility has a teaching pro, what programs are offered (leagues, team tennis, round robins, etc.) and quickly zero in on the courts that match their interests.
Search results include aerial views and maps plus complete facility information and user reviews. In the event that a public facility is missing some information, players can register or login and edit the facility's information based on what they know about it. Private club profiles can only be edited by club owners or employees with proper credentials.
Says Jeremy Bruck CEO and founder of TennisPoint.com, "Players can now find a facility and get a really good idea of what it's like before they ever go there. We think users are going to love it because it removes a lot of the worry about what you'll find when you arrive at the facility. We're also giving facility owners the ability to go in and edit their facility profile. So they can be sure that the information online is always accurate. It's a true win-win."
