Tennis Apparel That Helps Circulation and Blood Oxygenation

draper.jpgDraper Body Therapy yesterday announced the release of what it calls "the most advanced therapeutic sportswear for tennis players of all levels." The new apparel line uses oxygen-increasing textile technology to help with therapeutics and circulation. Here is more from the press release:

Proven to increase levels of oxygen in the blood and improve circulation in the body, this line features no-nonsense shirts and performance sport socks designed to accelerate muscle recovery and help players explode to the ball.

The therapeutic benefits of the US-made Draper Body Therapy line include: increased oxygenation and circulation levels; relief from pain, soreness, stiffness and swelling; increased energy; and accelerated muscle recovery after exertion or injury. Recent clinical studies have also proven the beneficial effects of the material continue hours after wear. These benefits help serious athletes prepare for their best game.

Draper Body Therapy includes the featured T-shirts and sport socks for men and women, both made to wick moisture away from the body and deliver the line's characteristic therapeutic benefits before, during, and after performance when they are perfect for layering. The T-shirt features a blend of Celliant (the oxygen increasing fiber), ComFortrel XP (with superior breathability and wicking capabilities) and Delcron Hydrotec (known for its superior moisture management) all used to give you a comfortable, high performance shirt with the added benefit of increased oxygenation. The back support designed to combat pesky lower back pain, support sleeves for knees and elbows, ankle/wrist supports and wrist bands round out the line. Additionally, pillow liners and blankets are available for relaxation and recovery after the demands of training and the heat of competition.

The textile technology utilized in the Draper Body Therapy line for tennis players was originally used to address circulatory issues in the medical market before it was redesigned to provide athletes with the therapeutic benefits of the smart fiber. Kristin Draper, President of Draper Knitting, says, "I am proud to put my name on these products".
