No More Vibration Dampeners: Babolat Pure Drive Roddick

Babolat Pure Drive Roddick
New for 2006, the Babolat Pure Drive Roddick is a slightly heavier update to the legendary Babolat Pure Drive Team. Meant to more closely replicate the weight of Andy's racquet, the Pure Drive Roddick provides a little more stiffness and power, provided you are able to handle the additional weight. Still categorized as a tweener (between powerful/controlled), the Pure Drive Roddick should retain its appeal to a wide array of players. Works well at the net (though not quite as maneuverable), as well as the baseline. Babolat also makes use of a new vibration dampening material called Cortex placed at the top of the handle and acts as an active dampener, without sacrificing feel.
