Sweet mamma we want one of these.

Adjust the iPong to give you underspin, topspin or heavy topspin balls and blast away. No more waiting for a practice partner. More like a live opponent rather than a 'playback feature,' iPong can continuously shoot more than 100 balls before reloading. It assembles in minutes.

Brodmann Blades

brodmann-blades.jpgWe haven't had a table tennis entry in a long time, but these new paddles from Brodman warrant at least one.

What these paddles are is a completely deconstructed ping pong paddle. They've separated the front and back - and you put your hand in the middle of them, like a glove. In essence, we've always said the paddle (or racquet) is an extension of your arm right? Well, this actually allows you to play like your hand IS the paddle.

They're running $100, which is steep but reasonable for a paddle which is bound to change the game.

K-Swiss Limited Release Ping-Pong Sneaker

kswiss_crop.jpgAs you know we're big fans of K-Swiss in general, so we're especially excited that they're going into the ping-pong market. At the end of this month, they're launching a new table tennis sneaker at New York's Partners & Spade. They'll be available on August 29th, and look like they're selling for $80 a pair. From the picture, it looks like they are the K-Swiss Classic Original Tennis Shoeswith an orange stripe and an orange mesh inner lining...but who cares? Not us, we like it.

Killerspin Launches Kids Versions of its Table Tennis Apparel

duo large.jpgKillerspin, probably the most leading edge company for ping pong gear of all sorts, has just launched kids versions of its Raya and Duo shirts. Like the adult/pro versions, they have an engineered microfibre piped neck and a soft feel that makes the shirt feel very. Not to mention they are non wrinkle wash and wear, and feature the Poly-Dri Moisture Management to keeps you dry.

While both are sharp looking shirts, we prefer the Duo. The Raya reminds us too much of a soccer/football jersey.

Even better, they are only $10 at killerspin.com. You can also check out all sorts of Killerspin gear here.

Any Table Ping Pong Table - Helping the Space-Challenged Feed their Table Tennis Addiction

tithi07.gifWe're having trouble figuring our whether this is available for sale yet, but it certainly looks pretty cool. The ping-pong tablecloth fits any size table (for the most part) and two adjustable clips to hold the net in the middle. Curious to see what material the tablecloth is made from and how the ball bounces. But judging from the pics, looks like it works pretty well. We don't have room in our house for a table, but I've been dying to play so maybe this is the answer!
